Reviews of French a la carte
French a la carte
French à la Carte is a private language school based on Sydney's North Shore, run exclusively by native French speakers. All our programs follow the same teaching philosophy and curriculum, tailored to the needs of our students.

It is fantastic!

I have attended classes at French a la Carte for 5 years and I 'm sure I will still be attending from my Nursing Home! The classes are not only learning French at a very high standard, they are also a wonderful social group where we all have a lot of fun. Francoise is so enthusiastic and energetic that she also organises events outside class times such as a Bastille Day lunch, Xmas Day spectacular, author's breakfasts, film nights, etc. The classes become an essential part of one's life!

A Fantastic Learning Experience

I started studying French with Françoise in 2004 and what a fantastic journey it's been. The class is always fun and a good workout for the brain. I have made some wonderful friendships and shared some memorable experiences, a highlight being the immersion in Noumea in 2009. I would definitely recommend French a la Carte to anyone considering learning French.

Guaranteed success

The standard of teaching here is of the best. Consistent work, as suggested by Françoise, will certainly bring results. Other bonuses are the friendly learning
environment and the comfortable venue with amenities of a high standard.

I have been attending the classes for 13 years and people say to mr "why are you still going?"as I take tours in French from time to time. I couldn't bear to leave. Nous sommes "comme une famille". The only disadvantage is that I have to drive to the North Shore from the Inner West!

Great learning experience

This will be my fourth year with French a la Carte. I attend a one hour conversation class, a standard two hour class weekly, and a two day immersion each January. The classes are structured to provide a balance in speaking, listening and writing skills, and Francoise's passion and dedication to teaching are inspiring. The classes and extra-curricular activities are great fun, and provide a supportive, learning environment. I studied French both at school and university, and feel i have learnt more in three years with Francoise than in those years combined.
